MCLEAN, Va. - Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo. The agreement marks Hilton's first dual-branded hotel in Mexico, and the second dual-branded property in Latin America for the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites brands following the announcement of the Lima, Peru properties. Owned and managed by Servicios Turísticos de Saltillo, the hotel continues Hilton Garden Inn's and Homewood Suites' expansion in Latin America, representing the brands' 37th and 7th properties open or in the pipeline in the region, respectively.

The new Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo will offer travelers accommodations with value-added amenities that emphasize comfort, convenience and productivity. Soon to be under construction, the hotel will consist of 200 rooms collectively: Hilton Garden Inn will offer 110 rooms and Homewood Suites will feature 90 suites.

The dual-brand building model allows for shared construction and zoning, while providing owners with savings on operational costs. The concept often also creates larger and enhanced communal areas and amenities, benefiting both business and leisure travelers. The Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo will have two distinct lobbies and dining areas - each catering to the needs of their respective guests - while sharing one registration desk, fitness center and pool. The hotel also offers 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting space that can accommodate up to 200 people.

Hilton Garden Inn properties provide guests with thoughtful amenities and services, including complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, 24-hour business center with Print SpotsTM remote printing, a state-of-the-art fitness center and indoor pool. Guests can dine on-property at The Garden Grille and Bar®, which offers a full cooked-to-order breakfast and dinner cocktails* and evening room service, and The Pavilion Pantry® is open 24 hours and features a selection of salty snacks, sweet treats, cold beverages and frozen, microwaveable packaged items. Homewood Suites' Latin America prototype design emphasizes efficiency of space, while staying true to the brand experience by creating a clear sense of place reflecting local culture. Guests of Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo will be welcomed by an inviting open concept lobby that flows into an indoor/outdoor living room and dining area. The hotel will feature spacious studios, and one-bedroom suites, all with fully-equipped kitchens complete with microwave, full-size refrigerator, cooktop, cooking accessories and more. Rooms will offer clearly defined kitchen, living and sleeping zones, as well as ample workspace. Dining options will include a full-service bar and lounge space for breakfast, lunch and dinner; pantry with a kitchen look and feel offering ready-made snacks; and Suite Shop convenience store offering a variety of other food, toiletry, and travel-need items for purchase.

Located near Saltillo's historic downtown, the seven-story Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton Saltillo is just minutes from the area's numerous automotive manufacturing plants. The property will also offer guests close proximity to Saltillo's top cultural attractions, including Museo del Palacio de Gobierno, Instituto Coahuilense de Cultura, Museo Batalla de la Angostura, Recito Patrimonio Cultural and Casa Purcell.
